City Hall officials:
The most important elements of traffic organisation on Bolesławiec’s streets will remain unchanged. The key task in these areas will be to organise parking. Above all, this means preventing vehicles from stopping too close to junctions and pedestrian crossings, as well as freeing pavements blocked by parked cars.
What will change?
City Hall:
One of the more important changes will be the “reversal of traffic” on Adama Mickiewicza and Sierpnia ’80 streets. On the remaining streets, the existing traffic directions and parking arrangements will be maintained.
When will the Paid Parking Zone open?
Work on all the streets should be completed by July. (City authorities point out, however, that this depends on weather conditions.) The office adds:
Once the work has been completed and the new traffic organisation verified, payments are planned to be introduced in the Paid Parking Zone in Bolesławiec—from July this year.
Changes to road markings are already being introduced. In some places, this requires cars to be temporarily moved to allow the markings to be painted. No-parking signs informing drivers of this obligation will be put up sufficiently in advance. City Hall: – Please pay attention to road signs.
