Two washbasins featuring flower and ocean motifs were inspired by paintings created by Andrzej Pachom—the author of the ceramic signage for Bolesława Prusa Street in Bolesławiec and of ceramic paintings displayed, among other places, at the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre – International Ceramics Centre and at the Orka water park in Bolesławiec. The ocean-themed washbasin was inspired by a painting created for Orka. The design and painting are the work of Andrzej Pachom. The entire piece was made at Ceramika Millena. Three different decorating techniques were used to create the washbasins: stamps—for the tile edges, rim and bottom of the washbasin; hand-painting of all the fish, plants and the ocean floor; and airbrushing of the water, some plants and the sunbeams. The washbasins were created in 2016, each as a one-of-a-kind piece. You simply will not find another one like them. Painting the masterpiece washbasin took many hours and required precision, perseverance and talent.
