Once again, more people than the permitted limit were present at the Parish of Christ the King in Bolesławiec. This time, at least 75 worshippers came to the 7:00 p.m. Mass.
The Catholic Church places itself above the regulations, even though the law should apply to everyone. Priests in some churches, contrary to their obligation, do not limit the number of people staying inside the buildings. They could, of course, hold Masses every hour, for example from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; then the limits would be observed. That would mean, however, that if there were two priests in the parish, each of them would have to work six hours a day—and, as we know, they are accustomed to lighter work. If there were three priests, they would work four hours each.
Let us recall that a week ago, on Friday, there were more than 120 people in the same Christ the King church. At the time, the police accepted a report of violations of epidemiological regulations, but did not go inside to check whether people were keeping their distance, wearing face masks and how many of them were there. They only counted those leaving. The matter is ongoing.
