Minister A. Niedzielski spoke, among other things, about how the Lower Silesian Voivodeship has recently experienced a significant increase in infections. He added that although a certain decline in the number of infections can be seen, the trend we are actually dealing with will become clear in the coming days. The effect of how we behaved during Easter will only become visible next week.
What decisions?

#SzczepimySię faster
Vaccines are a great chance to overcome the pandemic. So far, nearly 6 million 800 thousand injections have been administered at Polish vaccination sites. Almost 2 million 100 thousand people have already received two doses of the vaccine. The second quarter of this year means a definite acceleration.
We will vaccinate faster because significantly more vaccines will arrive than before. Therefore, we are moving vaccination appointments for people aged 60 and over from May to April, and on 12 April we are launching registration for additional birth cohorts. We hope that manufacturers will fulfil their declarations and that by the end of the summer holidays it will be possible to vaccinate everyone willing to receive a vaccine in Poland. Detailed information about the National Vaccination Programme can be found at gov.pl/szczepimysie – we invite you to visit.
Safety rules remain very important
Until then, until a larger part of society has been vaccinated, we must continue to be very careful. That is why we keep reminding everyone of the basic rules: wear masks, avoid large gatherings, keep your distance, remember to disinfect your hands and ventilate rooms. We also encourage you to download the Stop Covid – ProteGo Safe app.
Decisions concerning restrictions depend on the epidemic situation. Let us also remember that our behaviour affects not only our own health and life, but may also determine the fate of others.
