Every citizen is legally obliged to cooperate with the sanitary inspection. During epidemiological interviews conducted by the State Sanitary Inspection, all relevant information must be provided.
The State Sanitary Inspection reminds everyone that a person referred for quarantine may work remotely. If this is not possible, they are entitled to sickness benefits. The basis for the payment of sickness benefits by an employer or the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) for a period of absence from work due to mandatory quarantine is information from the EWP system. Therefore, one should inform their employer by telephone or email about quarantine or isolation.
