On Monday, 29 March, a press conference was held during which Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Marcin Horała presented the new border-quarantine rules for people returning to Poland from abroad.

The new quarantine rules will apply from 30 March

  • For travellers from the Schengen Area – a negative test taken no more than 48 hours earlier is required,
  • For travellers from outside the Schengen Area – every traveller will be sent into quarantine,
  • A test performed in Poland after arrival releases travellers from quarantine.
