The incident occurred on Monday, March 22, after 1 p.m., near the village of Dobra. The driver of a Kia, a 79-year-old resident of Osiecznica municipality, improperly performed an overtaking maneuver and hit a cyclist who was riding correctly, a 73-year-old woman from Osiecznica municipality.
The woman was injured. She was taken to hospital with leg, arm and head injuries. Unfortunately, she died. The case is being investigated by the Bolesławiec prosecutor’s office.
