During Monday’s press conference, Health Minister Adam Niedzielski said that the average number of new coronavirus infections is rising and is the highest in two months. The most difficult situation is in the Warmian-Masurian, Masovian and Pomeranian Voivodeships. The situation is also difficult in Lubusz.

Four more voivodeships have been placed on the alert list: Kuyavian-Pomeranian, Lower Silesian, Silesian and Subcarpathian.

“The situation looks very worrying. We will be watching very carefully what happens next. If we experience a significant acceleration in infections, the consequence will be decisions regarding restrictions in force across the country,” Health Minister Adam Niedzielski said at a press conference, as quoted by Onet.pl .
