The scholarship award ceremony was held on December 2 in Jelenia Góra. “These eight outstanding students are the best of the best,” said Dariusz Kwaśniewski, a member of the Bolesławiec County Board. “We are proud of their impressive achievements.”

The Prime Minister’s scholarships for the 2009/2010 school year were awarded to:

  • Karolina Janiec (Second General Secondary School)
  • Przemysław Juda (First General Secondary School)
  • Klaudia Judzińska (General and Vocational Schools Complex)
  • Barbara Kopała (Commercial and Services Schools Complex)
  • Grzegorz Mikołajczyk (Electronic Schools Complex)
  • Łukasz Neć (ZSOiZ)
  • Łukasz Nowakowski (Mechanical Schools Complex)

The scholarships are awarded for the period from September to June. “I am pleased, especially since I have received the scholarship for the second year in a row,” says Łukasz Neć. “It was not easy at all; I faced strong competition. The Prime Minister’s scholarship is a tremendous distinction for me.”

“I worked hard for this scholarship. I am extremely happy because this is the first such significant distinction I have received. It is certainly a powerful motivation to continue working,” says Klaudia Judzińska.
