As our Reader informed us today, the fault on Starzyńskiego Street in Bolesławiec has been repaired:
Thank you very much for all the lamps that are now lit.
They added:
The fault was serious, as it took as many as 9 days; the attached photos show the progress of the work, and all the lamps are lit.
Let us recall. We reported on the matter on February 16. A Reader informed us about the situation of the residents of Starzyńskiego Street, more precisely: stairwells 51–61:
The lamps on the courtyard side had not been working for more than half a year… The matter was reported to the property manager, Mr Molenda, who pursued it without success. Letters sent to the city office and SM Bolesławianka did not result in any positive resolution of the matter; no one feels responsible for what happened.
They added:
It is still dark, and when we go out for an evening walk, we do not feel comfortable.
Beata Ślęzak, head of Spółdzielnia Mieszkaniowa Bolesławianka, announced that same day:
I hereby inform you that, due to the detected interruption of the power supply to the lamps, emergency power will be provided to three lamps on the premises of the cooperative tomorrow, i.e. on February 17, 2021.
The permanent repair of the power supply will be carried out after the damage has been precisely located, provided that weather conditions are favorable.
