Municipal officials:

The planned road will serve as the north-eastern bypass of Bolesławiec. The beginning of the planned road is projected at approximately km 67+200 of the existing provincial road No. 297 in Łąka, while its end will be at the existing intersection with national road No. 94 in Kruszyn. The planned road to be designed will be approximately 5.9 km long. The road will run through forested and agricultural areas. It will intersect existing roads, which will be incorporated into its route by means of simple or channelized intersections with dedicated left-turn lanes, or roundabouts, depending on the projected traffic volume.

And they add:

The road crosses municipal and county roads along its route, as well as a railway line, and ends at the roundabout in Kruszyn, completed in 2018.

What is the purpose of the investment?

Continuing the construction of a new connection enabling travel from the A4 motorway junction to towns located south and east of Bolesławiec, without having to drive through the city. The planned section will connect provincial road No. 297 with national road No. 94 toward the Krzywa junction and, via the existing section of the south-eastern Bolesławiec bypass, with provincial road No. 363 toward Złotoryja.

UM:

The above section is the final stage in the construction of the transport route forming the eastern Bolesławiec bypass, ultimately enabling traffic to bypass the Bolesławiec urban area from the north and east.

The project documentation will be prepared by Biuro Projektów TRASA from Poznań.
