A reader wrote in an email to the editorial office:
The pavement along Przemysłowa Street apparently has not seen a snowplough-salt spreader at all since the heavy snowfall began. Hundreds of people walk this route to and from work every day. They presumably walk along the icy road.
They added:
In Bolesławiec housing estates, road managers make the owners of houses standing alongside the pavements responsible for clearing them. The question is: who should clear the pavement on Przemysłowa Street? The business owners or the road owner?
And remarked sarcastically:
The municipal police are happy to inspect homeowners’ chimneys to check what they burn, so perhaps they will get off their backsides and determine who should clear the heaps of snow lying on the pavement on Przemysłowa Street?
We appeal to those responsible for maintaining the pavement on Przemysłowa Street to deal with the matter.
