The incident occurred on Wednesday, 9 February. Volunteer firefighters from Różyniec:
3:05 p.m. – dispatched to a flooded basement in Osła. [...] it turned out that there was approximately 1.5 metres of water in the basement of a detached house. The water had flowed in from a damaged water pipe supplying the property.
The firefighters add:
We pumped out the water using a sludge pump.
Fortunately, no one was hurt.
