Zdzisław Abramowicz – a well-known regional historian, author of numerous articles and publications on the history of Bolesławiec and the region, and co-creator of many projects carried out by the History of the City Department of the Bolesławiec museum.

Barbara Banaś, PhD in art history, certified curator in the Department of Ceramics and Contemporary Glass and, since 2014, deputy director of the National Museum in Wrocław. She studies twentieth-century artistic crafts and contemporary design, and is the curator and co-organizer of numerous exhibitions devoted to Polish design. She is the author of many publications on the history of Polish design, including: “Krystyna Cybińska” (2008), “Zbigniew Horbowy” (2009), “Wrocław Art Nouveau” (2009), “Polish New Look. Utility Ceramics of the 1950s and 1960s” (2011), “Ludwik Kiczura” (2013), “Ceramic Products Factory «Steatyt»” (2014), “In Pursuit of Color. The Glass of Jerzy SłuczanOrkusz” (2019).

Janina Bany-Kozłowska – a graduate of PWSSP in Wrocław (Faculty of Ceramics), she works in sculpture and unique and utilitarian ceramics. From 1974, she worked as a designer, and from 1987 to 2019 as chief designer at the “Bolesławiec” Ceramic Works, where she created more than 1,600 form designs. She has repeatedly participated in the International Ceramic and Sculptural Open-Air Workshops in Bolesławiec.

Stanisław Firszt – recommended by the Polish Museum Association, Lower Silesian Branch. He is an archaeologist by education and has worked as a museum professional and museologist for forty years, with extensive experience and academic achievements. For more than 20 years, he served as director of the Karkonosze Museum in Jelenia Góra. He is a regional historian and popularizer of the history of Silesia, with more than 350 printed works and articles and approximately 1,000 articles on online portals. He is a member of numerous societies and associations, including the Karkonosze Scientific Society in Jelenia Góra, the Society of Friends of Archaeology in Wrocław, the Legnica Society of Friends of Science, and the Society of Friends of Jelenia Góra, as well as a member of the editorial boards of the journals “Nature of the Sudetes” and “Jeleniogórski Yearbook”. He currently serves as director of the Natural History Museum in Jelenia Góra.

Jan Leon Stasiak – recommended by the Bolesławiec Collectors’ Society. He has been passionate about the history of the Bolesławiec region for many years and is a collector of antiques, including historic Bolesławiec ceramics. He has cooperated with the Museum of Ceramics in Bolesławiec for years. His activities include protecting the material culture of the Bolesławiec area and researching and popularizing the history of the region. Jan Leon Stasiak was also one of the founders of the Bolesławiec Association of Collectors and History of the City Enthusiasts, serving as its vice-president; he is currently president of the Bolesławiec Collectors’ Society.

Full Prof. Dr. hab. Grzegorz Strauchold – recommended by the Dean of the Faculty of Historical and Pedagogical Sciences at the University of Wrocław, Dr. hab. Artur Błażejewski, Prof. UWr. Prof. Grzegorz Strauchold heads the Department of Contemporary History and the Historical Atlas Laboratory at the Institute of History of the University of Wrocław. His academic interests focus on the history of territories incorporated into Poland in 1945, especially Silesia, and their inhabitants; Polish Western thought; historical geography and cartography; and regional studies. He is the author of numerous publications, including five books and six historical atlases. Several dozen volumes have been published under his academic editorship. He has organized several dozen academic conferences. He is a member of numerous academic councils of historical periodicals and scholarly institutions. Among other roles, he serves as scientific editor-in-chief of the electronic historical periodical “Yearbook of the Western Territories”, affiliated with the Network of the Western and Northern Territories, whose governing body is the “Zajezdnia” History Centre in Wrocław. Bolesławiec and Bolesławiec County are also among the subjects of his intensive academic research.
