In connection with the above, if external funding is obtained, the Municipality of Bolesławiec will proceed with the implementation of the aforementioned task, under which up to 100% of the costs associated with removing asbestos products or products containing asbestos from buildings located within the city of Bolesławiec will be covered. These funds will not finance the costs of purchasing or installing new roofing or another building element from which the asbestos is removed. The owner or user of the property must cover these costs independently. A company selected through a request for quotations will remove the asbestos from the properties, transport it and dispose of it at the expense of the Municipality of Bolesławiec.
We ask interested residents of Bolesławiec to submit the “Declaration of Participation in the Task Related to the Removal of Products Containing Asbestos from the Municipality of Bolesławiec” by 19 March 2021 (in writing)
- at the seat of Bolesławiec City Hall, Customer Service Office, pl. Piłsudskiego 1 (office building – ground floor), 59-700 Bolesławiec
- or at the Customer Service Office of Bolesławiec City Hall, Rynek 41, 59-700 Bolesławiec (next to the Wedding Palace)
- or electronically at: azbest@um.boleslawiec.pl.
The declaration will initially qualify your properties for the removal of products containing asbestos.
The declaration can be obtained at the seat of Bolesławiec City Hall; at the Customer Service Office of Bolesławiec City Hall or on the website www.boleslawiec.eu, or in the Public Information Bulletin: https://www.um.boleslawiec.bip-gov.pl/public/, under the “environmental protection” tab.
A condition for qualifying for the implementation of the aforementioned task is that the property for which the declaration is submitted is included in the “Inventory of Asbestos and Products Containing Asbestos” prepared for the Municipality of Bolesławiec.
