The aim of the Center is to increase individual access to specialist assistance for victims of domestic violence and people affected by violence due to alcohol and other addictions, including children and young people, as well as perpetrators of violence.

The Center’s main activities include:

  • providing support to families experiencing problems related to addictions, including alcohol addiction;
  • providing individual and group support for people addicted to alcohol and psychoactive substances;
  • psychological consultations;
  • short-term meetings for families affected by violence due to addiction;
  • working with children and young people;
  • help in the form of meetings for families and couples with an alcohol-related problem;
  • street-based work with homeless people addicted to alcohol and psychoactive substances.

Residents of the city of Bolesławiec, adults and families experiencing violence due to alcohol and other addictions—those who contact the Center directly or are referred by the Municipal Social Welfare Center in Bolesławiec, the Municipal Commission for the Prevention of Alcohol-Related Problems in Bolesławiec, or the Interdisciplinary Team for Counteracting Violence.
