Officers of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec carried out 128 different interventions from 24 to 26 December 2020. During the holidays, officers arrested two wanted people; the residents of Bolesławiec County, aged 35 and 49, were wanted by the court.

In addition, police officers found drugs on two people. An 18-year-old possessed several portions of marijuana, while a 37-year-old had methamphetamine in his wallet. Traffic police stopped a 22-year-old resident of Lwówek County who got behind the wheel with 0.8 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled air.

Meanwhile, a 23-year-old lost control of his vehicle and caused a road accident, as a result of which two people were taken to hospital. The perpetrator was intoxicated, had more than 1 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled air and was subject to a court driving ban. The driver was arrested and charged with causing a road accident, driving while intoxicated and violating the court-ordered ban on driving motor vehicles.

In addition, officers intervened twice in connection with a family conflict that arose after the car keys were taken away from an intoxicated person attempting to get behind the wheel.
