The incident occurred on 20 December. Officers from OSP KSRG Nowogrodziec:
[…] at 8:10 p.m. we received information that a passenger car was on fire somewhere near our station. It turned out that the fire had broken out in a car park behind the Municipal Cultural and Sports Centre.
They add:
When we arrived, the car was engulfed in flames in the passenger compartment. One water stream was directed at the fire.
The operation by the firefighters from Nowogrodziec lasted just under an hour. Was it arson? This is being determined by officers from the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters.
