The checks were carried out between 5:00 and 9:00 a.m. After checking over 170 drivers, the uniformed officers identified only one case of an intoxicated driver.

After 8:00 a.m., a 49-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County was detained. She had more than 0.6 per mille of alcohol in her exhaled breath.

Driving while intoxicated is punishable by up to 2 years in prison, a driving ban and financial penalties.
