We will have an MP from Bolesławiec! Szymon Pogoda, a PiS councillor on the Bolesławiec City Council, will take over the parliamentary mandate from the deputy leader of Law and Justice, Adam Lipiński, who became deputy president of the National Bank of Poland.

In an interview with the Polish Press Agency, the Bolesławiec politician confirmed that he would accept the parliamentary mandate. He added that he would probably take the oath at the December sitting of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, as he is currently in quarantine.

PAP also reported that the Bolesławiec native would join the parliamentary club of Law and Justice.

Let us recall. In last year’s elections to the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, S. Pogoda won 4,876 votes in the Legnica district and, despite running in tenth place, achieved the seventh-best result on the list. (Six people from this list won mandates).
