Bolesławiec municipality:
After 18 years of work at the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec, based in Kruszyn, as conductor of the Municipal Song and Dance Ensemble “Jutrzenka” Zofia Michalska has retired after a distinguished career. In connection with this, the municipal authorities, GOKiS and ensemble members offered their heartfelt thanks for her many years of hard work and dedication.
As GOKiS reports:
Her work with the ensemble resulted in many awards and distinctions, not only on stages across Poland but also abroad. Thanks to its musical talent, Jutrzenka became known, among other things, for its interesting vocal arrangements.
The ensemble itself expressed its thanks for “many years of musical and folk concerts with the Jutrzenka Municipal Song and Dance Ensemble, which created and recreated the musical landscape of Lower Silesia.”
Bolesławiec Municipality Head Andrzej Dutkowski presented Zofia Michalska with a gift. The GOKiS director, Janusz Cieśla, together with his colleagues, also prepared a special present for the newly retired employee. GOKiS adds:
Once again, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for the years spent together, the concerts and rehearsals, as well as the many warm conversations and moving moments.
