The reader commented on the skatepark’s condition in the following words:

A massacre at the skatepark... This is only a small part of [widok na zdjęciu przyp. red.], but what is happening there is a disaster... Vodka and beer bottles are scattered everywhere.

Apparently, the slobs have moved to the comfortable benches at Wiadukt Plaza; they can no longer be bothered to take a walk along the Bóbr and litter the Bobrowa Ścieżka. Unfortunately, the photos also show that the bins are overflowing, so some of the rubbish has been blown out by the wind.

Perhaps the slobs were encouraged by the fact that, since September, the skatepark, pump track and climbing walls have also been available after dark thanks to lighting installed along the boulevard by the Bóbr. Beer and other alcohol enthusiasts can now enjoy their drinks outdoors in a nicely lit place. It is a shame that they do not respect the place or clean up after themselves.

Another email describing what can be found at Wiadukt Plaza has reached the editorial office:

Dear Editorial Team, In short, I would like to report this matter to you anonymously, as you definitely need to take an interest in it, because our city is turning into a complete rubbish dump, with the authorities’ quiet, indirect consent through their failure to respond to this phenomenon. This is what I found on Saturday and Sunday morning throughout the skateboard area, around the playground, as well as by the benches and bins. […] This situation raises many questions, the basic ones being: what was the reaction of the Municipal Police and/or the Police (or rather, why was there no reaction), given that this facility is supposedly monitored? The amount and distribution of all this rubbish clearly indicate that a party organized by a group of several dozen people took place here […]!

The type of waste suggests that various kinds of alcohol were consumed. A place popular among young people requires checking the participants’ ages at such a gathering. Doesn’t it?

As can be seen in the photo, the rubbish also includes a vandalized shopping cart, which is likewise an act of theft and destruction of someone else’s property. Can this really go unnoticed so carelessly?
Leaving aside the illegal nature of such a gathering during the pandemic, it is completely contrary to the rules for using this facility. Isn’t this an outright violation of the law?

Presumably, none of those responsible for this act will be held accountable, and the cost of cleaning up the facility will fall on the administrator, MOSiR Bolesławiec, and therefore indirectly on every resident of this city. […] the perpetrators will certainly use this place for the same purposes and gradually destroy it completely. Can the Municipal Office afford that?

Despite the favorable weather, this facility is unsuitable for use strictly because of the lack of safety. It is puzzling that the area for skateboards and bicycles is relatively clean. Why? […]
