On November 11, 2020, the 102nd anniversary of our country regaining independence, Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman, County Head Tomasz Gabrysiak, and representatives of associations and organizations laid flowers at the Monument to the 100th Anniversary of Regaining Independence in Bolesławiec.

Following the symbolic ceremony, a Holy Mass for the Homeland was celebrated at the Bolesławiec Marian Basilica. The patriotic celebrations concluded with Bolesławiec residents, participants in the nationwide “Niepodległa do hymnu” project, performing the national anthem.
