Officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn detained, as a result of operational activities, a 26-year-old resident of Warta Bolesławiecka Municipality suspected of committing burglary.

The perpetrator was detained in his vehicle, where cartons from a lorry were found. The goods recovered by the police included computer stands, kitchen rolling pins and folding dinosaurs.
It turned out that several hours earlier, the detainee had broken into a lorry and stolen various cartons.
But that was not the end of it. The officers said: “As a result of searching the residential and utility premises occupied by the 26-year-old, police officers seized narcotic substances in the form of methamphetamine.”
The suspect will face charges of burglary and drug possession. He could now face a sentence of between one and as many as ten years in prison.
