Officers from the Police Station in Nowogrodziec arrested two people. KPP:
As a result of operational activities, officers established that a 33-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County had driven a borrowed car to the scene of the crime, where he attempted to steal relays and vices. Frightened away, he did not manage to load all the items he wanted to steal.
When he was arrested, police officers found drugs on the suspect. Narcotics were also found in the aforementioned car.
That was not the end of the matter. Police:
During a search of the perpetrator’s home, officers found bags of animal food originating from a burglary involving a truck trailer. It also turned out that the arrested man had another crime on his record.
Drugs belonging to the arrested man’s 26-year-old partner were also secured. She had hidden the marijuana in a jar. The woman could now face up to three years in prison. Her partner, who is a recidivist because he has previously been convicted of property crimes, could in turn spend as many as 15 years behind bars.
