On the night of October 24–25, Poland will switch from daylight saving time to standard time. The clock hands will be moved from 3:00 to 2:00. PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A.:
We are prepared to ensure the smooth operation of train traffic during the time change. A special timetable has been prepared for the time change. Because the clocks will be turned back from 3:00 to 2:00 on the night of October 24–25, trains running at around 3:00 will stop for approximately 60 minutes at the nearest station and then continue their journey. Arrival times at their final destinations will not change.
The company adds:
The stop will affect only trains that are en route when the time changes. Trains departing according to the new time on Sunday, October 25, will run in accordance with the current timetable.
Railway carriers provide information about train services. Details can be found, for example, on the carriers’ websites, their Facebook profiles, through their helplines, and from conductors. The current timetable can also be checked at https://portalpasazera.pl/.
The time change on the last weekend of October takes place every year in nearly 70 countries around the world.
