The head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister Michał Dworczyk and Lower Silesian Voivode Jarosław Obremski announced the establishment of the facility at the Conference Centre at the “Terminal” hotel. “Several locations in Wrocław were considered. The analysis showed that the Conference Centre at the “Terminal” hotel meets the conditions required to create a temporary hospital there and is the best possible location for this purpose,” said the Lower Silesian voivode. “The team I appointed is working on carrying out this important task.”
Arguments in favour of creating a temporary hospital at the facility on Rakietowa Street included, among other things, the building’s appropriate infrastructure, which would enable its conversion into a temporary hospital; its simple layout, allowing for the optimal arrangement of beds; extensive sanitary facilities; land enabling a possible increase in the number of places; and its proximity to the Wrocław motorway bypass and the airport.
Another advantage of this location is the hotel, which will be designated for the medical staff working at the temporary hospital.
Minister Michał Dworczyk declared that the project being carried out in Lower Silesia would receive full support from the entire government, both financially and organisationally. The equipment for the temporary hospital will come from the Material Reserves Agency.
The temporary hospital at the “Terminal” hotel in Wrocław will be supervised by a team from the University Clinical Hospital.
