Police officers from the station in Kruszyn determined, as a result of operational activities, where narcotic substances were located. “Investigative information indicated that the 62-year-old Bolesławiec resident not only possessed drugs but also sold them. After entering the apartment, officers found narcotic substances already prepared for use,” reports asp. szt. Monika Kaleta from the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław. “The officers seized more than 300 grams of marijuana, which had been hidden in a paper bag, a glass jar and a coffee package.”
But that was not all. In a polytunnel located next to the 62-year-old’s house, officers discovered a cannabis cultivation: 15 plants. The spokesperson said: “The arrested man explained that he possessed everything for his own use because he suffers from arthritis and marijuana helps with his ailments.”
The suspect has already been charged with three drug-related offenses. He will answer for possession, cultivation and trafficking in narcotic substances. He faces between one and as many as ten years in prison.
