The decision was made this evening. It was prompted by an announcement from the Ministry of National Education.
“Half of the classes will study remotely, and the other half at school. After a week, they will switch, with the proviso that we will try to arrange things so that fourth-year classes remain at school all the time. This will apply in all secondary schools in Bolesławiec County,” says Katarzyna Zięba, head of the Education, Culture and Sport Department at the District Office in Bolesławiec.
School principals decided exactly how this would be organized. Detailed information has already been sent electronically. The restrictions do not apply to vocational schools, special schools or special educational centres, because they educate students with special educational needs.
Students who, for various reasons such as their financial or home situation, cannot participate in virtual learning because they lack a computer or internet access are to be provided for at school. Principals will be required to organize on-site classes for such students or remote classes conducted on school premises. Teachers who have equipment problems should also conduct classes using school equipment.
