Officers from the Criminal Division of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters detained a suspect in a vehicle break-in and theft as a result of operational activities. KPP:
The 24-year-old resident of Bolesławiec Municipality first obtained the car key and then determined where the vehicle was parked. After committing the crime, the perpetrator drove several kilometres deep into the forest and hid his loot.
The property, worth PLN 2,000, was recovered and handed over to its owner. The thief faces a possible sentence of one to as many as ten years in prison.
