The county hospital in Bolesławiec is beginning to run out of beds for COVID-19 patients. As we have learned, there are currently only a few beds available.
The situation could improve once the new hospital for coronavirus patients, which is currently being built on the premises of the Bolesławiec ZOZ, opens. It will have room for 65 patients. The first part of this new hospital will probably open at the end of October.
According to Kamil Barczyk, head of the Healthcare Center, the closure of the Bolesławiec facility, as happened in the spring of this year, is unlikely to happen because it would not make sense. Nevertheless, the decision in this matter rests with the voivode.
