People who have a medical certificate or a document confirming a disability are exempt from the obligation to wear face masks in public spaces.

The Ministry of Health informs where wearing face masks is not mandatory:

Covering the mouth and nose is not mandatory in forests, parks, green areas, botanical gardens, allotment gardens, historic gardens and on beaches.

Ministry of Health spokesperson Wojciech Andrusiewicz also informs that it is not necessary to cover the mouth and nose while exercising.

The matter was clarified during Saturday's press conference by Minister of Health Adam Niedzielski. According to him, in urban areas where it is not possible to maintain distance, wearing a face mask is mandatory. However, in green areas (parks, forests and boulevards), people may exercise without a mask, including cycling.
