Officers from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters, after receiving a report of a theft at the hospital, identified and detained a man suspected in the case.
According to the officers’ findings, the 42-year-old, who was a patient at the facility, robbed two people on the day of his discharge. KPP:
In the first case, he took advantage of an elderly man falling asleep and took his mobile phone from a shelf. In the second case, he stole a wedding ring from a hospital locker while its owner went for a procedure.

The suspect is known to officers from Bolesławiec County because he was recently charged in connection with vehicle thefts. The police action resulted in the recovery of the stolen property.
What is more, the perpetrator was in such a hurry to leave the hospital that he forgot about his medical records. He could now face between three months and five years behind bars.
