Work on the construction of the columbarium began in May this year and continued until September. The contractor for the project is Ogrody Jagielski from Bolesławice. The investment cost PLN 146,370. It was carried out by Miejski Zakład Gospodarki Mieszkaniowej, the cemetery manager.
“The construction of additional columbarium sections is due to the fact that this form of burial after cremation is gaining more and more supporters in Bolesławiec. There are also people interested in reserving niches in the columbarium. The fee for reserving one niche in the columbarium is PLN 5,546,” says Kazimierz Łomotowski, director of MZGM in Bolesławiec.
