The incident occurred on Saturday, September 19, at around 12:40 p.m., in Zgorzelec. A 37-year-old officer from the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski—off duty at the time—noticed a passenger car driver brake suddenly and slump helplessly in his seat.
Everything indicated that the man had lost consciousness. The police officer immediately stopped his car, ran over to the man and notified the emergency services.
