During the night of September 14–15, someone broke into a chapel in Czerna (Nowogrodziec municipality). The thieves stole sound equipment. And—as a Reader informed us—they smashed the windows in the church.
The losses were estimated at more than PLN 1,600. The case is being handled by officers from the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec. The perpetrators could face a sentence of between one and as many as ten years in prison.
