During Polsailing Day, children had games prepared for them on land. They had to complete a course using a treasure map. Of course, there was no shortage of challenges on the water.
Larger sailboats and kayaks were available for parents. The club’s motorboat also attracted considerable interest. It had been donated to the club by Mayor of the City Piotr Roman and helps improve competitors’ safety during training on a daily basis; during the latest event, it made the occasion more attractive while promoting water sports.
Jacek Pietraszkiewicz, a representative of the board of the Polish Yachting Association, attended the event. He is the organiser of the Polsailing programme and Polsailing Day. The event was made possible thanks to the courtesy of Wacław and Piotr Rosiński, who made the body of water available for the event. Robert Opała, owner of Amper B, also attended; the company is the club’s main sponsor.
Every participant received refreshments during the event, and guests were happy to visit the food area. The organisers provided delicious food from Opałkowa Chata Restaurant, grilled treats from Furtak, bread from Piekarania Berezowscy, and fruit from JM Fruits. Technical supplies were provided by Techbol, which has supported the club since its beginnings.
Thanks to their joint efforts, UKŻ Pirat was able to prepare an excellent offering for residents of Bolesławiec and the surrounding area. Guests from Legnica, Jelenia Góra and Lubin also attended, which may testify to the event’s standing.
Beautiful sunshine and wind ensured a good turnout at PolSailing Day, which can be estimated to have been record-breaking. UKŻ Pirat thanks all guests for taking advantage of the offering and invites them to further joint activities on the water.
See you on the water!
