The incident took place on Thursday, September 10, before 11:00 a.m., at the intersection of Podgórna and Ślusarska streets in Bolesławiec. The driver of an Alfa Romeo, a 26-year-old resident of Miasto Ceramiki, failed to yield the right of way to a 74-year-old cyclist. The latter rode her bicycle onto the pedestrian crossing. A collision occurred.
Fortunately, the cyclist did not suffer anything more serious; she sustained only general bruising.
The Alfa Romeo driver was fined, while the cyclist was cautioned (in connection with riding a bicycle across the crossing).
