A separate building on the grounds of the County Hospital in Bolesławiec for coronavirus patients will make it possible to avoid a situation in which the entire hospital, along with its other departments, could once again be closed to other patients. It will also allow the pediatric and internal medicine departments at the hospital on Jeleniogórska Street to reopen.
The single-storey building, with an area of more than 4,000 sq m, will be constructed from prefabricated elements. The structure will be dismantled and moved from Görlitz, Germany, to Bolesławiec. The cost is PLN 6–7 million. The funds for this purpose have already been secured.
