The Great Business Gala, combined with the presentation of the Lower Silesian Gryfs, prestigious economic awards, was held on Monday, 19 October, at the Wrocław Opera. Bolesławiec County won in the category of territorial self-government units. “If investors read that our county is receiving further awards, they will rightly conclude that there is a favorable climate for business here,” said starosta Cezary Przybylski.
The “Lower Silesian Gryf – Economic Award” competition is organized by the Western Chamber of Commerce and the Employers’ Association Polska Miedź. The awards are presented by a jury comprising the rectors of five universities, local government officials, and representatives of the banking and business sectors.
The competition aims to honor those companies and territorial self-government units that contribute most to the economic development of our region. The county submitted its own application. The competition entry, prepared by the Promotion, Development and Investment Department of the County Office, was nearly 200 pages long.
