Miedzowe Centrum Zdrowia has signed an agreement with the Bolesławiec Health Care Centre to conduct coronavirus tests and swab collections for KGHM employees. By the end of the year, employees of the mining company will be able to use this service up to 10,000 times.
The tests will be conducted—as early as next Tuesday—by our hospital’s employees at all Miedzowe Centrum Zdrowia facilities: in Lubin, Legnica and Głogów. At least 20 employees of the Bolesławiec facility will be assigned to perform this service. (Additional staff will need to be hired.)
As the head of the Health Care Centre, Kamil Barczyk, explains, all of this is intended to serve a preventive function; KGHM wants only infected individuals to be quarantined, rather than entire facilities.
