Bolesławiec police officers detained a 28-year-old man who was carrying several dozen doses of methamphetamine. What is more, the suspect had been identified as the perpetrator of four crimes against property. In the second half of August, vehicles and power tools were stolen by the 28-year-old in the municipalities of Nowogrodziec and Bolesławiec.
As the detainee explained, he stole in order to sell property that did not belong to him. (Officers found one of the stolen vehicles near the scene of the crime).
Moreover, during their work, the officers established that the 28-year-old man had at least one more burglary on his record. (A bicycle originating from the crime was recovered during the search).
The detainee was charged with five offenses, admitted his guilt and gave explanations. As he had already been convicted of this type of offense, he may now face between one and as many as fifteen years in prison.
