Ceramika Artystyczna Spółdzielnia Rękodzieła Artystycznego is one of five Bolesławiec companies that presented their latest products at the “New Designs in Bolesławiec Ceramics” exhibition. The exhibition can be visited at the “W sam raz” gallery (BOK – MCC, 1c Piłsudskiego Square), on August 20 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and August 21–23 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
At the exhibition, Ceramika Artystyczna Spółdzielnia Rękodzieła Artystycznego presented its latest tableware forms. The ceramic designs were created by decoration designers: Teresa Liana, Maria Starzyk, Jacek Chyła, Maryla Iwicka and Karolina Śliwińska as well as Chief Designer and Artistic Director Mariusz Ochocki. Innovation, the beauty of the forms and their decoration, unconventional ideas for embellishment and exceptional flair particularly distinguish the cooperative at this exhibition.
Ceramika Millena also presented its work. The influence of folk art is clearly visible in this company’s pieces. “Millena” Ceramics was founded in 1996 by Wiesława Seneszyn and Dariusz Sikorski. The company has received numerous awards in various types of competitions. For example, in 2007, the stand prepared by the company at the Kraków Trade Fair received an award for the most interesting artistic composition in the “Shop Window 2007” competition organized by the Kraków City Culture Promotion Foundation, Kraków City Hall, the Kraków Merchants’ Congregation and the Association of Polish Art Artists. In 2008, during the 32nd Folk Art Fair, it received a diploma from the President of the “CEPELIA” Foundation Polish Art and Handicraft in Warsaw and the Director of the Folk Art Fair Office in Kraków for its special contribution to the development of folk art and artistic handicraft.
