Fireproof separation of stairwells, the installation of a fire alarm system and smoke extraction systems are just some of the work currently being carried out at Zespół Szkół Elektronicznych in Bolesławiec. In order to adapt the building to fire protection requirements, it must be rebuilt. This will ensure that, if necessary, the evacuation of people in the building proceeds efficiently. To improve safety, a new fire protection water installation will be constructed, and new hydrants will be installed outside.
The building will be renovated inside and out. The walls will be plastered and floors will receive new surfaces. To prevent the effects of moisture in the future, damp-proof insulation will be installed. Replacing sheet-metal flashings and gutters, as well as eliminating leaks, will protect the facility from the school being flooded during heavy rain, while the western wall will receive a new façade.
The renovation work is scheduled for completion by November 17, 2020.
