In recent days, we have dealt with a series of fires involving combines and fields. A farm tractor also burned down. On Saturday, August 1, a combine caught fire in a field between Bolesławiec and Łaziska. Similar combine fires also occurred (on Saturday as well) in Lwówek County, in Popielówek and Chmielno.

On Sunday, August 2, a similar fire broke out in Stary Łom (the Chojnów municipality in Legnica County). There, too, a combine and a field caught fire. Firefighters from Bolesławiec County took part in the firefighting operation.

A few days earlier, on July 29, firefighters from Zgorzelec County and Bolesławiec County (15 units in total) fought a large fire in a field near Dłużyna Górna (Zgorzelec County). A farm tractor and 20 hectares of grain burned in that fire.
