It is worth recalling that the “Report on the State of the City of Bolesławiec” is a source of knowledge about the activities of the municipal government, Bolesławiec and the changes taking place in areas of residents’ activity. The report was prepared on the basis of materials from the departments of Bolesławiec City Hall, municipal organisational units and companies in which the Bolesławiec Municipality holds shares. The report contains annual data on individual areas of the city’s functioning, thus reflecting the activities of the local government and the development of Bolesławiec.

The discharge was also preceded by granting a vote of confidence to the President of Bolesławiec, as well as by reports, opinions and statements from councillors’ groups:

  1. the report on the implementation of the city budget for 2019 and the financial statements
  2. the opinion of the Regional Chamber of Audit in Wrocław on the report on the implementation of the city budget for 2019 submitted by the President of Bolesławiec and information on the condition of municipal property
  3. the opinion of the Audit Committee of the City Council
  4. the opinion of the Regional Chamber of Audit in Wrocław on the motion of the Audit Committee of the Bolesławiec City Council concerning the granting of discharge to the President of Bolesławiec for 2019
  5. statements from councillors’ groups.

The Regional Chamber of Audit issued a positive opinion on the report on the implementation of the 2019 budget submitted by the president. The Audit Committee’s opinion was also positive.

The granting of discharge to the president was preceded by the adoption of a resolution approving the financial statements together with the report on the implementation of the city budget for 2019.
