Below is a notice from the Water Supply, Sewage and Treatment Plant in Gromadka:
Water from the Public Water Supply at the Water Treatment Plant in Gromadka is unfit for consumption. According to the Sanitary Inspectorate’s notice, the water is suitable only for sanitary purposes (flushing toilets and washing floors).
Furthermore, in connection with work aimed at restoring water quality in accordance with applicable legislation, the Water Treatment Plant (SUW) in Gromadka will be completely shut down from 8:00 p.m. on July 27, 2020, until further notice.
Drinking water—after boiling—will be available at the ZWKiO headquarters in Gromadka at 3C Sosnowa Street. Water for sanitary purposes will be delivered by the Volunteer Fire Service in the individual village districts.
These recommendations remain in effect until another notice is issued.
