The incident occurred on the night of July 22–23, on the A4 motorway. The driver of a car transporter, a resident of the Opole region, stopped near the village of Krzyżowa (Gromadka commune) to change a wheel.
Unfortunately, he did not lock the cab. The result? Someone entered the vehicle and stole money from the man from the Opole region.
The Bolesławiec police are handling the case. Efforts are under way to establish the perpetrator’s identity and arrest them. Let us remind you: theft is punishable by between three months and as many as five years in prison.
