The renovation work is progressing smoothly, and everything indicates that the contractor will not only meet the scheduled deadline, but that the bridge will be open to traffic in both directions much sooner.

For several months, the crossing over the Bóbr River has been undergoing a comprehensive reconstruction. At present, nearly all the work has been completed; the temporary work platforms are being dismantled, the supports are being painted, and cleanup work is underway. Pedestrians can move freely along the new pavement, while renovation of the two traffic lanes is nearing completion.

Traffic is currently operating in alternating directions, but soon it will be possible to drive freely in both directions. The contractor expects all work to be completed by the end of July and will submit the entire project for final acceptance.

At the investment planning stage, the estimated cost was set at approximately PLN 3,000,000. In the tender, the contractor offered a price PLN 500,000 lower. The Powiat authorities submitted an application for funding to the Fund for Local Government Roads, which awarded 80-percent funding amounting to PLN 2,320,000. Under a partnership agreement, the remaining amount was divided between Bolesławiec County and the Municipality of Bolesławiec.
