Within a few minutes, officers removed three drivers from road traffic. The record-holder was a 54-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, who got behind the wheel with 2.5 per mille of alcohol in her breath.
The 48-year-old resident of Polkowice County had 0.28 per mille in his breath, while the 29-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County had more than 0.4 per mille.
The police immediately seized the drivers’ driving licences. Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters:
All of them face the loss of their driving licences and financial consequences. Driving while intoxicated is punishable by up to two years in prison.
The officers add:
We urge everyone not to get behind the wheel after drinking alcohol.
And they announce:
We have already planned further morning operations during which drivers’ sobriety will be checked.
